About
Specializing in small group tours exploring the uniqueness of Florida and Italy.
With us you will explore, experience and learn what makes a place unique and interesting. If you are searching for an active vacation that will put you in touch with the flavors of a locality and its unique sights and peculiarities, look no further!
In our tours, we select the roads less traveled to explore hidden corners and share special places that only the locals know.
Our small group tours of only eight to ten individuals allow us to enjoy unique experiences such as being invited to share a typical meal at the home of a local, explore nature with kayak/canoe, bicycle through towns and trails, participate in the local scene and stay in quaint small places that can only accommodate small number of guests.
We focus on and select a few locations at the time to be able to truly see and explore the places we visit.
Our goal is to:
- give you an authentic in depth experience of a region
- go beyond the famous highlights
- seek the lesser known treasures
- experience nature and local foods
- learn a little about the history and other interesting facts about the place you visit
We can also plan individualized tours for your group, often at the same price of our regular tours.
Tours
Florida
The Forgotten Coast
Sarasota, Cedar key, Port Saint Joe
8 Days 7 Nights from $1,980
This tour begins in Sarasota where you will visit the winter estate of Ringling, owner of the famous Ringling Brothers Circus. Then we will travel north toward the Panhandle and stop along the way to kayak on estuaries, swim in chilly springs, and canoe on rivers, explore the historic island of Cedar Key, sample fresh oysters and eat local seafood. We will see a variety of seashores and habitats: grassy shores, mangrove forests, pinelands, oyster beds, river estuaries, river basin and white sandy beaches. Some of the areas that we will visit still maintain the Old Florida flavor, where fishing is the main occupation and life moves at a slower pace. Here you can still find some small funky family owned restaurants that serve simple homemade meals and locally caught fresh seafood.

Italy
The following tour of Puglia is a sample of our tours in Italy. We also organize tours to other regions such as Emilia Romagna and Tuscany; just let us know what you interests are and we will be happy to work with you.
Fall in the South of Italy
Puglia
10 Days 9 Nights from $ 3,480
A little known region from a tourist point of view, Puglia is rich in history and natural beauty. Located in the heel of the Italian boot, this narrow peninsula faces the Adriatic Sea and Montenegro (former Yugoslavia). This region produces the best olive oil in the world and some of the finest Primitivo wine in the south.
In this tour we will experience the southern Adriatic coast with picturesque towns perched on cliffs over the sea, medieval towns, castles, caves, lakes and sandy beaches. We will walk among ruins and centennial olive trees. You will taste the freshest, simplest, delicious, locally made food and witness its preparation.
October/November is the time for harvesting olives, make olive oil, and sample the new wine. Many small towns celebrate their bounties with local festivals during this period. You will visit outdoor markets full of colors, smells and sounds where the sellers love to vocalize the virtues of their product and make simple but colorful displays. We will stay in unique Inns and taste many foods directly from the farm. You will interact, share meals with locals and make some Italian friends. This is not your average tourist tour, but a real immersion in the southern Italian culture.
